East Shrewsbury Buggy Racing Club, located at Painsbrook Farm in Shrewsbury, is a racetrack in the area for remote-controlled buggy racing enthusiasts. The racing calendar at East Shrewsbury BRC is packed with thrilling events throughout the year. The next event, scheduled for 6th and 7th April 2024, is the ESBRC Members Race. On Saturday morning, participants can enjoy open practise sessions, followed by fun races in the afternoon. On Sunday, qualifying rounds and finals will take place for all classes, including 1/8 Nitro Buggy, 1/8 E Buggy, and 1/8 Truggy.
The cherry on top is that entry to this race is completely free for ESBRC members.
The club also hosts the National Warm-up race on 27th and 28th April 2024. This two-day event features controlled practise sessions in heat order on Saturday, followed by qualifying rounds and finals, including the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) and Super Pole for 1/8 Nitro Buggy, on Sunday. A weekend pass priced at 25 grants access to this thrilling race.
On 11th and 12th May 2024, East Shrewsbury BRC will be hosting the BRCA Rally X National. For more details and entry information about this event, participants are encouraged to visit the BRCA website. Classes for the Rally X National include 1/8 Nitro Buggy.
