As a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in the NHS for over 35 years, Jane understands the importance of holistic well-being and incorporates this philosophy into her teaching.
Jane holds several yoga qualifications, including a Foundation Course with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), a 200-hour teacher training course accredited by Yoga Alliance at The Yoga Garden in West Sussex, and a comprehensive 3-year 500-hour British Wheel of Yoga Diploma in Teaching Yoga. She has also completed a 300-hour 'Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs' teacher training course and is registered with the YHLB Register of Teachers.
To further enhance her expertise, Jane has recently completed a 'Yoga for Cancer' teacher training course and provides individualised yoga sessions for clients through the local Macmillan service. These various qualifications enable Jane to cater to individual needs and interests, ensuring that yoga is accessible to everyone.
At Embrace Yoga, Jane teaches Hatha yoga, incorporating breathwork, posture work (asana), relaxation, meditation, and yoga philosophy. She runs local group classes in Cocking village hall and at the Grange Leisure Centre in Midhurst. Jane also offers one-to-one sessions and online Zoom classes, providing personalised instruction.
