Emma Williams Yoga is a yoga instructor based in Ringwood, New Zealand. With a background in nursing, Emma has a deep understanding of the physical body and a passion for health and wellbeing. She specialises in providing hypnotherapy, reflexology, and yoga for deep relaxation and healing.
Emma's journey into yoga began as a means to achieve more balance in her own life and reduce stress levels. She completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training using a Sivananda approach and now runs workshops that incorporate treatments such as reflexology, Indian head massage, and yoga therapy. These treatments have been shown to help achieve a more emotionally balanced life and can be tailored to individual needs.
In her yoga classes, Emma believes that yoga can benefit everyone, regardless of their fitness levels or mobility. She teaches yoga with compassion, encouraging students to practise mindfully at their current abilities. Her approach is to gently guide students to connect breath to movement and find freedom in their postures through the use of props and correct alignment. Emma believes that when our approach to yoga is relaxed and open-hearted, the strength and healing we desire naturally occur.
