The traditional martial arts of the Philippines is known as Eskrima, Arnis or Kali with the terms being roughly interchangeable. Movements are based around fighting with weapons, including sticks, bladed weapons and other improvised weapons. Participants also learn hand fighting techniques, but the emphasis is on weapons fighting.
