Ellie's passion for dance led her to pursue a career in teaching. She obtained her teaching qualifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in Modern, Tap, and Ballet. Ellie now shares her expertise and love for dance with students at First Steps & Carly Elizabeth School of Dance. She is dedicated to providing a positive and nurturing environment for her students, helping them develop their technique, musicality, and artistic expression.

The First Steps & Carly Elizabeth School of Dance is known for its high-quality dance education and nurturing environment. The dance studio welcomes children from the age of 3 years old and offers ballet classes taught through imaginative stories and rhymes. Research has shown that ballet at a young age greatly benefits children, improving their coordination, posture, self-awareness, and confidence.

As students progress, they have the option to explore different dance styles such as ISTD Classical Ballet, Tap Dance, Modern Theatre Dance, and Jazz Dance. These classes not only teach students a new range of steps and techniques but also encourage them to express themselves freely through dance.

The school is led by Kathryn Pearce, an experienced and highly qualified dance teacher. Kathryn's extensive training and passion for choreography and performance have been recognised at various competitions and festivals throughout the UK. She supports and nurtures her students, helping them achieve their full potential and many of them have gone on to pursue professional careers in musical theatre and dance.

The school is also fortunate to have Carly Hall, an approved tutor and highly skilled dancer, as one of its teachers. Carly has a deep passion for performance and choreography, and her talents have been acknowledged at prestigious competitions and events. Carly's dedication to her students' growth and development is evident in the many success stories of her former students who are now working as professional dancers and teachers around the world.

Another valuable member of the teaching team is Ellie Garwood, who started her dance journey at First Steps & Carly Elizabeth School of Dance at a young age. She has trained extensively in various dance styles and has achieved remarkable success in both ISTD examinations and competitions. Ellie's experience and passion for dance make her an inspiring and dedicated teacher, constantly pushing her students to reach their full potential.
