The pool is heated to a comfortable 28C, allowing for year-round use. For those seeking relaxation or hydrotherapy, there are two spa pools available, set at a toasty 38C. It is important to note that the spa pools are restricted to individuals aged 5 years and older. Additionally, there is a mixed-gender sauna and steam room available for individuals aged 16 and above.

Freyberg Pool & Fitness Centre also offers a fully equipped gym, known as Club Active Gym, for fitness enthusiasts. The gym features a variety of cardio and weights machines, cables, free weights, and stretch areas. In addition to gym access, Club Active members and non-members can participate in a range of group fitness classes.

Entry fees and other charges are applicable for the use of facilities and services, including swimming pool access, spa pool, sauna, steam room, aquafitness classes, and swim memberships. Visitors can purchase concession passes for added convenience. The facility also offers swimming lessons, aquafitness and hydrotherapy classes, and lane/pool hire.
