Guided by President Tony Ganner, along with Treasurer Peter Colwill and Secretary Peter Forest, the club officers ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the club. Their collective efforts make the club inclusive and welcoming for players of all ages and skill levels.

As a key participant in the Bucks Chess League, Gerrards Cross fields three teams, highlighting the talent and commitment of its members. The club also organises internal standard and blitz competitions, providing a platform for members to hone their skills in a supportive environment.

Gerrards Cross Chess Club prioritises promoting chess in schools, recognising its benefits such as enhanced concentration and critical thinking. To support young players, the club offers a complimentary one-month membership for new junior members.

Membership fees are designed to be accessible: £76.00 for adults, £25.00 for juniors, and £64.00 for those over 65. Membership includes access to club nights and competitions, contributing to the development of chess within the community.
