Founded in 2003 by Shana Pollock and Michael Witcomb, the school was created with the vision of providing children with a nurturing and supportive environment to learn artistic skills while preparing them for potential careers in film, TV, and theatre.

In 2007, Shana retired due to health reasons, and the business was taken over by Sarah Dormady, who had already been teaching at the school. Sarah has diligently continued the strong foundations established by Shana and Michael, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students to thrive.

At Goldmans Stage School, regular weekly classes are offered in acting, dance, and singing for children aged 4 and above. The classes are designed to provide professional training, discipline, and a deep understanding of the arts. While the classes follow a structured approach, the school does not rigidly adhere to a syllabus, allowing for flexibility and creativity in teaching. By keeping class sizes manageable, the school ensures that each student receives personalised attention and tailored feedback.

The school has a stellar track record in preparing students for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the school adapted to online lessons. However, starting from September 2023, in-person classes will resume, along with the exciting opportunity for students to pursue Musical Theatre exams.
