Great Hyderabad Adventure Club (GHAC) brings together outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. As a Not for Profit organisation affiliated with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, GHAC offers a diverse range of adventure and trekking activities. From weekend hiking and camping trips to exhilarating rock climbing, bouldering, and rappelling sessions, there’s something for everyone seeking thrill and connection with nature.
Membership is free and open to anyone over 18, while younger adventurers aged 13-17 can join with parental consent and children aged 6-12 can participate alongside their parents. Safety is paramount at GHAC, as all activities are led by professionally trained and certified Outdoor Leaders well-versed in first aid and emergency handling.
The club is rooted in a passion for adventure, inspired by founder Diyanat Ali's childhood experiences and his deep connection to nature. Whether scaling Hyderabad’s rock cliffs, exploring offbeat rural locations, or challenging oneself on Himalayan treks, GHAC members are assured an unforgettable experience.

The Great Hyderabad Adventure Club (GHAC) has no branches, subsidiaries, or affiliations with any other organization using similar names. GHAC has paused all adventure programs and events since 2023, so please verify before associating.
We organise Adventure, Trekking, Hiking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Outdoors, Nature and adventure sports like Bouldering, Rock climbing and Rappelling. Activities are conducted regularly every weekend in Hyderabad, Telangana and rest of India.
Our mission is to promote adventure activities, support nature study, awareness, care and conservation, and focus on leadership and youth development.
