This state-of-the-art facility, opened in November 1999, was one of the first purpose-built gymnastics centres in the country to receive National Lottery funding. It has since undergone extensions and improvements and recently celebrated its 20th Birthday in 2019 and 21st Anniversary in 2020.
At the Ipswich Gymnastic Centre, you'll find a wide range of top-notch facilities that cater to all gymnasts. These include a designated recreational gymnasium, competitive gymnasium, dance studio, treatment rooms, and a classroom/meeting room. The centre is equipped with various apparatus, such as Asymmetric Bars, High Bars, Parallel Bars, High and Low Beams, Rings, Vaults, Pommels, Sprung Floor, Tumble Track, Fast Track, Foam Pits, Trampettes, and floor-level Trampolines.
Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club, based at the Ipswich Gymnastic Centre, is renowned as one of the largest and best-equipped competitive gymnastics clubs in the country. With gymnasts competing at International, National, Regional, and County levels, the club has certainly made a name for itself in the gymnastics community. Additionally, they have gymnasts in the National, Regional, and County squads, showcasing their dedication and commitment to nurturing talent.
