Jill Winters, Technical Director Jill Winters is a former Canadian Women's National Team player with over 15 years of coaching experience. She holds a UEFA A License and has coached at various levels including youth, collegiate, and national team. Jill joined HCU in 2018 as the Technical Director and is responsible for overseeing the development of the club's coaching staff and player development programs.
Halifax County United Soccer Club (HCU) is a community-based club located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Established in 1998 through the merger of three local clubs, HCU has grown to become one of the largest clubs in the Halifax Regional Municipality. With over 2,100 players ranging from Under 4 to senior level, HCU is dedicated to providing quality soccer programs for players of all ages and abilities.
HCU's mission is to offer residents of Halifax County access to quality soccer programs, allowing players and coaches to maximize their potential. The club aims to foster a love for the game, develop both individual and team skills on and off the field, and create a positive and inclusive environment for all members. HCU's vision is to be the exemplar community soccer club in Atlantic Canada, delivering excellence in governance, program delivery, player development, and overall membership experience.

Jill, a former Canadian National Team player with a UEFA A License, leads the development of coaching staff and player programs, ensuring high-quality training and player development opportunities.
