They have trained and graded with some of the most senior karate masters in Japan and Europe. Shyam Raithatha, the senior instructor and founder of HSK, is a 6th Degree Black Belt. He has been practising karate since 1992 and has won numerous national and international medals as a member of the England National team.

The teaching team at Harrow Shotokan Karate also includes assistant instructors who have achieved high-level black belts. They contribute their expertise and passion for karate to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

In addition to its affiliation with the Japan Karate Shoto Federation and the English Karate Federation, Harrow Shotokan Karate is also recognised by the World Karate Federation, the only world karate body recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
