About
Henley Rowing Club, one of the oldest open rowing clubs in Britain, was founded in 1839 and is based in the scenic Henley-on-Thames. Jane, who heads the club, is all about making rowing open to everyone, no matter your skill level or goals.
At Henley Rowing Club, Jane and the team believe rowing is for everyone. Whether you're just starting or you're a seasoned pro, there’s a membership option that fits you. They support every member’s journey, whether it's for fun or to compete.
Besides rowing on the lovely River Thames, they've got Go-Row indoor exercise classes every Tuesday from 12pm to 1pm. These quick and fun workouts on rowing machines are perfect for adults of all fitness levels. Jeff, the experienced instructor, makes sure everyone improves and learns the basics. You can reach Jeff at go.row@henleyrowing.club for more details.
For those new to rowing, the Learn to Row courses offer a fantastic way to get fit and make new friends on the river known for the Henley Royal Regatta.
Thanks to the support of the Henley Royal Regatta Charitable Trust, the club also encourages young people in local state schools to take up rowing through ergo clubs and on-water coaching.
Stay in the loop with all the latest racing news and updates by signing up for their mailing list. Henley Rowing Club promises not to spam your inbox.
