At IKD Australia, we believe in the power of karate to break the cycle of crime and violence. Our main goal is to serve young people and help them find direction in life through the discipline of karate. Located in Gympie, Queensland, our club welcomes members of all ages and skill levels.

One of our main focuses at IKD Australia is to develop important life skills such as resilience, discipline, and consistency in our karatekas. We provide a safe and supportive environment for our members to learn and grow, both as athletes and as individuals. Our dedicated coach, Hamid Mostofizadeh, has over a decade of experience coaching athletes in competitions. He is a highly experienced AKF NCAS gold coach and also serves as a coach for the Queensland Karate State Team.

With his expertise in both traditional and sports karate, Coach Hamid is committed to helping our athletes reach their full potential.

We are incredibly proud of our competing athletes at IKD Australia. These young individuals work tirelessly to improve their skills and achieve podium results at every competition. Their hard work and dedication have earned them a strong reputation in competitions of all levels.

Our instructors are highly experienced and well-qualified, with over 20 years of experience each in teaching the art of karate.
