Julie Stephens, the heart behind Julie Stephens Yoga in Nelson, wants to extend a warm invite to everyone! Known for her skill and commitment, Julie's studio offers heaps of yoga classes and programmes, catering to all levels of experience.
The main gig at her studio is Vinyasa Flow. Julie's big on self-inquiry and helps students understand their body, mind, and breath. Beginners or pros, everyone finds a supportive environment here to boost their yoga game.
Julie also hosts international yoga retreats. It's a chance to dive deep into yoga in some stunning spots, soaking up culture and having a load of fun with like-minded folks.
For those aiming to teach yoga, Julie's got you covered with her Yoga Teacher Training programmes. With either a 200-hour or 100-hour curriculum, you'll walk away ready to inspire others or just deepen your personal practice.

Classes are held across different spots in Nelson. The main studio is at Trafalgar St Hall by the river. Join in on Monday at 6.30am, Wednesday at 5.30pm, Thursday at 5.30pm for gentle flow, and Friday at 6.30am (until Winter). You’ll also find classes at the Uplift Float Centre on Rutherford St, Nelson.
Booking ahead is an option, but feel free to just show up.
