Kaikoura Squash Club

Join the action at the Kaikoura Squash Club! Nestled on Killarney Street, this hub of squash activity, led by President Vic Prince, is home to around 110 members, including 30 juniors. Vic ensures everyone is catered to, from seasoned players to newcomers, offering both social and competitive squash.

Notable for its vibrant tournaments, the Kaikoura Open and Kaikoura Masters, the club draws players from across the region. The Masters tournament stands out with its renowned social atmosphere and mouth-watering seafood and crayfish.

The club boasts three glass-backed courts, a bar and kitchen area for post-game socialising, and ample parking. Facilities also include changing rooms and showers to keep you fresh before and after matches.

Weekly events at the club include Friday night socials and Monday afternoon junior coaching. Competitive spirits can join the North Canterbury and Blenheim interclub leagues, or the winter league on Wednesday nights. For those who like a relaxed game, summer’s social league is perfect. Regular in-house tournaments keep the community engaged year-round.

Membership options with the Kaikoura Squash Club are diverse and value-packed. Choose from Adult, Couple, Junior, Country, Family, and Social memberships, ranging from $10 for Social to $245 for a Family membership with a junior league player. It’s a great way to connect and form bonds within the community.
