In your movements. Aikido training will gradually increase your flexibility and improve your overall physical well-being.
Self-Defence Aikido is a highly effective martial art for self-defence. It focuses on using an attacker's energy and movements against them, rather than relying on brute force. Through Aikido training, you will learn how to redirect and control an attacker's energy, effectively neutralising their aggression. This makes Aikido suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities.
Mind-Body Connexion Aikido is not just about physical movements, but also about developing a strong mind-body connexion. The practise of Aikido requires focus, concentration, and awareness of both your own body and your partner's movements. By cultivating this mind-body connexion, Aikido practitioners learn to stay calm and centred in challenging situations both on and off the mat.
