LB Swim School

LB Swim School is a small independent swim school located in Moor Park, Ludlow. The school is family run and has a strong desire to build water confidence, discovery, and enjoyment in the water. The school offers a range of swim lessons, from tailored 1:1 or 2:1 sessions to the competitive social aspect of 3:1 or Rookie sessions. The Swim England/STA qualified teachers at LB Swim School are friendly and skilled, helping swimmers of all ages and abilities achieve their goals.

The main objective of every lesson at LB Swim School is to create the perfect environment for learning. The school combines a relaxing venue with fun and enjoyable sessions, resulting in the finest swim lessons for all participants. As a Swim England Swim School Member, LB Swim School follows all four frameworks provided by Swim England, giving every swimmer the opportunity to achieve their goals.

The swimming pool at Moor Park is impressive, measuring 18m × 9m and featuring a high-level retractable enclosure. With a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2m, the pool provides a perfect learning environment for beginners up to advanced swimmers.

LB Swim School was established in October 2019 with the aim of providing intensive, private, and fun swimming sessions for the surrounding rural communities of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Shropshire. The school focuses on providing individual attention, encouragement, and empathy to ensure that every swimmer receives the best service. The mission of LB Swim School is for everyone to experience the fun of swimming. By encouraging discovery and providing a varied programme, swimmers are able to explore and push their own personal boundaries at their own pace, resulting in confident and skilled swimmers.

The team at LB Swim School is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about swimming and teaching. The team includes Louise Boucker, Cerys Davies, Ellen Breed, Zack Gerrard, Eleanor Millington-Marsh, and Darryl Ingham.

LB Swim School offers a range of swim lessons for different age groups. The Ducklings programme is aimed at children aged 3-4 and focuses on promoting water confidence and independence. The sessions are game and play-based, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere while teaching vital water skills. The Learn to Swim programme is aimed at school-aged children, offering a pathway from Stage 1 to Stage 7.

The programme guides swimmers from their first splashes in the pool to independent and confident swimming achieved in Stage 7.
