Lizzie Yoga Hereford is a well-versed and experienced yoga instructor based in Hereford, New Zealand. With 22 years of personal practise, Lizzie has developed a deep understanding and passion for Hatha yoga, which she aims to share with her students.

Lizzie's journey with yoga began in 2001 when she attended her first class on a gloomy January morning. From that moment, she felt a profound sense of inner calmness and upliftment. Yoga not only improved her physical posture but also had a positive impact on her mental and emotional well-being. It became a faithful companion in her life, providing solace and a sense of grounding amidst the chaos of the world.

In 2012, Lizzie obtained her teaching qualification from The British School of Yoga, further enhancing her understanding and expertise in Hatha yoga. Her goal is to create welcoming and uplifting classes where students can experience the numerous benefits of the practise. Through her guidance, Lizzie aims to help her students find peace, confidence, and happiness in their lives.

Alongside her yoga practise, Lizzie discovered the transformative power of Gong baths seven years ago. The experience was profound, taking her into a meditative state of effortless relaxation. It left her buzzing with energy, inner contentment, and mental clarity. This inspired her to pursue a qualification as a Sound Therapist in 2020, with certification from The College of Sound Healing (COSH).

As a qualified Sound Therapist, Lizzie now offers both group and one-to-one Gong bath Sound Meditation sessions. She works with a range of sound healing instruments, including gongs and singing bowls, to create a deeply calming and rejuvenating experience for her clients. Lizzie's sessions provide a sacred space for participants to release tension, find balance, and restore their overall well-being.

In addition to her regular yoga and sound therapy sessions, Lizzie also organises workshops, retreats, and bespoke well-being events. These offerings provide opportunities for individuals to delve deeper into their yoga practise, explore self-care techniques, and nurture their overall well-being.
