Hereford Sub Aqua Club

Warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. Hereford Leisure Pool We are fortunate to have access to Hereford Leisure Pool on Wednesdays. This allows us to complete training sessions, test equipment, or simply enjoy a leisurely swim for fitness and relaxation. The pool offers a calm and controlled environment for our members to practise their skills and improve their diving abilities.

Club RIB and Compressor We have our own club RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) which is available for use on our diving trips. This enables us to explore and dive in various locations throughout the year, both in the UK and abroad. In addition, we have a compressor on site, providing free air fills for our members. This ensures that our divers always have access to the necessary equipment and resources for their dives.

Kit and Cylinders As a member of Hereford Sub Aqua Club, you will have access to our comprehensive range of diving equipment and cylinders. This includes wetsuits, masks, fins, BCDs (Buoyancy Control Devices), regulators, and more. We take pride in maintaining our equipment to the highest standards, ensuring the safety and comfort of our divers. Training Resources Our club offers a wealth of training resources for members to utilise.

We have a dedicated training team, consisting of nationally qualified instructors, who are accredited to provide scuba diving training and award internationally recognised qualifications. Whether you are a beginner looking to try diving for the first time or an experienced diver seeking to advance your skills, we have courses and resources to suit your needs. Local Diving, Knowledge, and Experience Hereford Sub Aqua Club is fortunate to have many years of local diving experience within our membership. Our members possess a wealth of knowledge about the UK coastal waters and can offer guidance and advice on the best dive locations, conditions, and marine life.

We regularly organise trips to explore these waters together, providing opportunities for divers to learn from one another and share their passion for diving. The committee members of Hereford Sub Aqua Club are all volunteers who act in the best interest of the club. They are voted in by the members and do not receive financial compensation for their role. This ensures that every decision made is motivated by the club's mission to provide the best experience for its members.

We encourage all club members to actively participate in club life, but we understand that individuals may have other commitments. There is no pressure to be heavily involved in the club, and members can choose their level of involvement based on what suits them best. At Hereford Sub Aqua Club, we believe that joining a club is more than just learning to dive. It is an opportunity to form lifelong friendships, explore the underwater world, and create memories that are truly priceless.
