Locks Heath Lions Football Club

Welcome to Locks Heath Lions Football Club, a voluntary-run club located in Southampton. We cater to boys and girls starting from the Under 6 age group, all the way up to the Under 18 age group, with Mid-Solent League teams.

At Locks Heath Lions, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive club, offering competitive and fun football for players of all ages. Our primary aim is to enable our players to develop and progress in a sporting and fair environment. As a Football Association Charter Development Club, our volunteer coaches and managers meet the requirements set by Hampshire FA and comply with Hampshire Child Welfare regulations. This ensures that our players are provided with the best possible environment to thrive in.

However, we are more than just a football club. We have our own set of club values, which are represented by the acronym R. O. A.

R respect, optimism, aspiration, and resilience. These values are instilled in our players both on and off the field, enabling them to not only succeed in football but also in life. We make it a point to celebrate and recognise players who exhibit these values individually or as a team.

Community engagement is a top priority for us. As a club, we believe that it belongs to the coaches, players, and their carers/parents. To foster a sense of community, we regularly engage with our members through various means, such as handbooks, club zooms or meets, a youth forum, social events, 'meet the committee' events, and our Facebook page. Additionally, we work collectively to raise funds through activities such as cake sales, raffles, and fun runs.

Locks Heath Lions is always on the lookout for individuals who are willing to contribute and take on roles within our club. We welcome everyone to be involved and play a part in shaping our amazing community.
