Los Campos FC, led by passionate football organiser Alex, is a vibrant community football club located in Hackney, London. Since its start in 2015, initially as a group of parents playing with their kids in London Fields, the club has expanded into a thriving hub for football enthusiasts.
Affiliated with the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth Football League and the Camden & Islington Youth Football League, Los Campos FC offers players the chance to compete in excellent matches throughout the season. The club’s strong social media presence connects them with the wider football community.
Alex and the team at Los Campos FC focus on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to develop their football skills. Beyond the technical and physical training, the club also prioritises the psychological and social growth of young players, fostering a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
The vision at Los Campos FC is to build a respected local community club that welcomes kids of all abilities, offering opportunities to learn, play, and potentially excel to higher competitive levels. The qualified coaches tailor their sessions to meet the needs of each age group, ensuring every player has a valuable experience.
Los Campos FC supports The F.A. Respect programme by emphasising good behaviour both on and off the pitch. They encourage parents, coaches, and spectators to set positive examples through support and encouragement rather than criticism, helping young players enjoy the game without fear of mistakes.
Currently, Los Campos FC is looking for new players aged 6-17 to join for the upcoming season. Teams compete in the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth League and the City and Islington Market Road Leagues. The club offers open sessions for everyone in the community, regardless of experience, to come and try out football. After these sessions, participants can become full members of the club.
Training sessions are held at South Marshes on Homerton Road, near the 7v7 pitches. U8-U11s train on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm, followed by U12-U18s from 6-7 pm. There’s also girls’ training from 6-7 pm.
