Lowestoft Rowing Club

Welcome to the Lowestoft Rowing Club, located in the beautiful town of Lowestoft, New Zealand. Established in 1977, our club has been rowing on the Waveney River for over 40 years. We are proud to row from our purpose-built boathouse on Oulton Broad, which sits on the southern Norfolk Broads and the River Waveney – offering some of the most stunning rowing water in the country.

At Lowestoft Rowing Club, we pride ourselves on being a small and friendly community. Our members range from beginners to seasoned rowers, with a strong focus on both competitive and recreational rowing. We have excellent facilities including a wide selection of boats, ranging from beginners' single sculls to top-quality racing fours.

For those interested in competing, we have members who participate in regattas across the country. These events offer a chance to showcase skills and compete against other rowing enthusiasts. However, if you prefer a more relaxed rowing experience, you can enjoy the tranquilly of the water and the beauty of the surrounding scenery.
