Participate purely for fun or take part in races, ranging from local events to international championships. The club's rich history spans across both junior and senior members, with successes in recreational rowing, Henley Royal Regatta wins, and representation at national and international levels.

Conveniently located near the A4/Bath Road bridge, the club's boathouse boasts excellent accessibility facilities, including a lift, changing rooms, and a pontoon ramp. Organised on a squad basis, Maidenhead Rowing Club offers various categories for individuals to find their fit, such as Juniors (11-18), Senior Men, Senior Women, Adaptive, Masters Women, Masters Men, Recreational, and Daytime rowing.

Annually, the club hosts two prominent events: Maidenhead Junior Regatta in May and Maidenhead Regatta in early August. For the latest information on learn-to-row opportunities, please visit the club's website.

Maidenhead Rowing Club has a rich history that can be traced back to the first half of the 19th century. The first recorded rowing race in Maidenhead dates back to 1831 when Eton College triumphed over Westminster School. The Maidenhead Regatta, held three weeks after the first Henley Regatta in 1839, further solidified the town's connexion to competitive rowing. Notably, the Star Club and Lady of the Lake Club from Maidenhead participated in races against the Albion Club of Henley during this inaugural regatta.

Over the years, Maidenhead Rowing Club has continued to thrive, with numerous achievements in competitive rowing and an ever-growing membership base. The club's boathouse, opened by Sir Steve Redgrave in 1998, remains a hub of activity and a testament to the enduring passion for rowing in Maidenhead.
