The Canberra Bridge Club in Deakin is hosting its annual “Mentoring in May” program, a beloved tradition that occurs every May. This program is specifically designed for those who have a keen interest in learning more about the exciting world of bridge.
During “Mentoring in May,” experienced players are paired up with mentees, creating the perfect opportunity for mentees to gain valuable knowledge and skills from their mentors. For two bridge sessions, the mentors will play using the mentees' preferred system. It's a fantastic chance to learn and grow while enjoying the game we all love.
If you are a friendly and enthusiastic individual who can commit to playing two sessions during the month of May and guiding a fellow club member, we would love for you to apply to be a mentor. Your mentoring can make a significant difference in someone's journey to becoming a better bridge player. Don't miss out on this incredible chance to share your expertise and foster a love for bridge within our club.
For those who are eager to dive into the “Mentoring in May” program but are not yet ready to become mentors, fear not! We sincerely encourage everyone, regardless of their skill level, to participate either as a mentor or mentee. This program is open to bridge enthusiasts of all expertise levels, so there's no reason to hold back.
Nominations for the “Mentoring in May” program will open in April, so mark your calendars and keep an eye out for updates. We will provide more information when the nomination forms become available next April. Make sure to check back with us, so you don't miss the chance to be a part of this unbelievable growth opportunity for both mentors and mentees. Remember, in the end, bridge is the ultimate winner!
We look forward to seeing you at the “Mentoring in May” program at the Canberra Bridge Club in Deakin. Let's join together and make this year's program one to remember!
