Meon Valley Bowling Club in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire offers an exciting lineup of outdoor knock out competitions for all our enthusiastic members. These fantastic events are skilfully organised by our dedicated Ladies' Match Secretary, Chris Brett, and our ever-reliable Men's Match Secretary, Adie Booth.
Our competitions cater to various preferences and skill levels, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy. We have thrilling single gender singles matches, where players can showcase their individual prowess on the green. For our amazing Golden girls, aged 65 and above, we have a special singles competition that adds an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie. And let's not forget about our esteemed Veterans, gentlemen aged 70 and above, who can participate in their own singles event as well.
If you're looking to team up with a partner, our drawn pairs competition is the perfect opportunity to join forces and challenge other dynamic duos. And for those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition with a mix of genders, our 2 wood mixed pairs and mixed triples events provide a delightful blend of skill and teamwork.
In addition to these thrilling competitions, we're also introducing a brand new event for 2023: Australian pairs! This exciting format promises to add an extra layer of strategy and excitement as players vie for the title.
To participate in any of these exhilarating competitions, there's a nominal entry fee of £3 per event. Hurry, as the deadline for entries usually falls around the end of April. It's important to note that we provide a convenient draw sheet in our pavilion, where winners are kindly requested to notify our organisers and keep the website updated with their progress.
