Meridian Kung Fu Chelmsford – North is excited to introduce the Meridian Kung Fu (UK) Instructor Programme! This programme is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching and want to make a difference in the lives of their students. It's an amazing opportunity to become a certified instructor and even own your own branch in the future!
The Instructor Programme consists of 6 levels of progression, each one building upon the previous level. These levels must be successfully completed in order to obtain the Probationary Instructor status. Throughout the programme, participants will learn coaching and management skills through monthly seminars led by experienced Instructor and business mentor Sifu Steve Carpenter. These seminars are held at our headquarters and provide valuable insights into the art of teaching. In addition, participants will also have hands-on training in actual classes once a week to develop their skills even further.
The best part? There is no charge for this course! However, please note that we only accept a limited number of new recruits each year and strict guidelines must be followed throughout the 4-year programme. To participate, you'll need to purchase the coaching kit, which includes a manual and a DBS check, for the respective prices of £60, £15, and £9.
Each level of the programme focuses on different aspects of coaching and teaching. From basic class involvement duties to advanced coaching skills, you'll have the opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge. Level 6 even provides branch management tuition, covering important areas such as economics, marketing, and first aid.
Upon successful completion of Level 6, you'll be awarded Provisional Instructor status. Meridian Kung Fu (UK) will then offer a zonal opportunity for new Instructors to open a branch on a trial period of one year. As long as you meet all the standards outlined in the Instructors handbook, you'll be awarded FULL INSTRUCTOR status. If needed, we can even provide a full-time leased premises in any part of the UK.
