MJN KARATE CLUB

At MJN Northwood, the MJN Karate Club is dedicated to fostering physical strength, mental fortitude, and ethical development through the teachings of the Seiki-Juku Karate Organisation. Established in September 2017, the club has become an active part of the local community, working closely with nearby schools and providing a safe training space in the Youth Hall for people of all ages.

Under the leadership of experienced instructors, spearheaded by Sempai Scott since 2021, MJN Northwood offers training programmes for both children and adults. This follows the successful 25-year tenure of Sensei Alan at the Hillingdon Club. Members progress through the grading system with access to grading videos and results to track their achievements.

The club focuses on hand and foot techniques, mastering various stances, and a detailed Karate syllabus. To ensure professionalism, members are encouraged to apply for a licence from the UK Seiki-Juku Karate Organisation, aligning with traditional Karate principles. Emphasising respect and discipline, dojo etiquette and a code of conduct are key to creating a harmonious training environment.

Committed to safeguarding, MJN Northwood follows all necessary protocols to ensure members' physical and emotional well-being. They also organise special events for members to showcase their skills and participate in friendly competition.
