Monkstown Rugby Club

Monkstown Rugby Club, founded in 1883, is one of the oldest and most established rugby clubs in Dublin, Ireland. Just three years after the formation of the Irish Rugby Football Union in 1880, Monkstown Rugby Club began its journey in the Monkstown/Dun Laoghaire area before relocating to its current grounds in Sandymount in 1901. The club has been playing rugby at Sydney Parade for over 100 years, building a strong tradition and history in the community.

Mini rugby has been an integral part of Monkstown Rugby Club, offering fun coaching sessions for children every Sunday. Known as the Monkstown Little Devils, the club provides a safe and enjoyable environment for young boys and girls to learn and play rugby.

Monkstown Rugby Club is a modern and dynamic club with a wide range of teams, including 4 senior men's teams, an Under 17's team, mini rugby, tag, and touch rugby. The club also has a partnership with Dublin Business School, known as DBS Monkstown.
