Mullingar Harbour Canoe Polo Club runs canoe polo for players aged 9 upwards in Mullingar. Canoe polo is a fast moving team sport played in kayaks, similar to water polo but with goals suspended over the water. The club welcomes beginners during the summer months, with coaches teaching kayaking basics, passing, ball skills and scoring. It is a not for profit club affiliated with Canoeing Ireland, run by volunteers.
