Newark Equestrian is a small, friendly, and professionally run riding school and equestrian centre located in Balderton, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. As a 5-star licenced and insured facility, they provide a range of services including riding lessons, dressage, showjumping, cross country, pony club activities, hacking, and adult riding club. They also offer pony days for children and have a registered Pony Club Centre.

Newark Equestrian welcomes riders as young as 3 years old and currently has their oldest rider at the age of 70, who returned to riding after a 25-year break. They have a fantastic selection of well-schooled and regularly competed horses and ponies to suit everyone's needs, ensuring riders receive the right support as they progress in their riding journey.
The centre is owned and run by Christine Carlile, a BHS intermediate instructor with over 35 years of experience in all aspects and disciplines of horsemanship. Christine's passion for horses began at the age of 5 when she started riding her first pony, and she became an active member of the Exmoor Pony Club. With her extensive experience, Christine has successfully managed various yards and has worked and competed with Hunters at County level, as well as undertaking dressage at medium/advanced levels.
Christine is assisted by Dannie, the yard manager and instructor at Newark Equestrian. Both Christine and Dannie are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for students to learn and grow as riders.
