Despite facing adversity from the local council's attempt to sell the land, the skaters successfully fought to keep the skatepark in its current location.
Central to the Liverpool skate scene, New Bird Skatepark offers a variety of features to cater to different skating styles. The park includes bowled corners, pump bumps, flat banks, hips, and grind bars. For those who prefer transition-based skating, there are open-sided bowls available. Additionally, the park offers ample potential for wallrides.

New Bird Skatepark is always open for skaters to enjoy and is located at Jamaica Street in Liverpool's Merseyside region. Visitors can easily find the skatepark by following directions from Liverpool Central station or arriving at Greenland Street by bus.
