Newcastle Cross Country is a cross country running club located in Newcastle, Australia. To participate in each run, members are required to complete a pre-race event entry by the Friday night prior to the event. Additionally, it is essential to bring along the membership shoe tag, which is provided upon registration. New members will have to collect their shoe tag on the day of their first run. Other necessary items to bring include personal water, as it will not be provided for health and safety reasons, and money for parking at certain venues.
Participants are also advised to bring insect repellent due to potential mosquito activity and consider investing in an arm band and running belt pouch for their mobile phones and keys, respectively.
The Annual General Meeting is a significant event for the Newcastle Cross Country Club, providing an opportunity for all interested parties to gather and discuss the future of the club. This meeting is open to the public and will be held on Thursday 26 October 2023 from 7:30pm at the Lloyd Deverall Meeting Room, located in the Clubhouse at Nesbitt Park, Cnr Grayson and Casey Avenues, Kotara South.
