North Bay Nordic Ski Club

The North Bay Nordic Ski Club, located in North Bay, Ontario, offers a picturesque and serene setting for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. With a total trail distance of 50 km, the club's groomed trails cater to both classic and skate skiing techniques. Additionally, the club boasts a 800m sprint trail, a large stadium field, and 2. 5 km of illuminated trails for night skiing.

In 2007/08, snowshoeing became an official club activity, with two designated trails available for members to explore – the Beaver Meadow Loop (1. 5 km) and the Ridge at Nordic Loop (4. 5 km).

The club also provides an array of racing opportunities for individuals of all skill levels to test their abilities against the clock. With a focus on inclusivity and development, the North Bay Nordic Ski Club aims to create a welcoming environment for all members to participate in events and challenges. With the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the North Bay Nordic Ski Club was able to acquire a new Pisten Bully 100 Nordic trail groomer in January 2023, further enhancing the quality of the skiing experience for all members.
