Oakville Yacht Squadron (OYS) is the top sailing club in Oakville, known for its vibrant racing and cruising programs, as well as its active social events. The club prides itself on its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect place for sailors of all levels to enjoy the sport of sailing.

Our racing program is one of the most active in the region, with races happening up to three times a week. Whether you are an experienced racer or looking to try your hand at crewing, there are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water and test your skills. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, our cruising program offers organized cruises nearly every weekend during the summer, allowing members to explore the beauty of Lake Ontario with friends.

In addition to on-water activities, OYS hosts a variety of social events throughout the year, including regattas, Sailpast, Pub Night BBQs, and banquets. These events are a great opportunity to connect with other members and enjoy our beautiful waterfront location.
