Welcome to Petersfield Karate Club, a leading martial arts club in the picturesque town of Petersfield, East Hants. Blending traditional Shotokan Karate with progressive martial arts, our club offers a unique and holistic approach to martial arts training. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Petersfield Karate Club is here to inspire confidence and unlock your full potential.
At Petersfield Karate Club, we believe in fun, disciplined, and creative martial arts classes that cater to individuals of all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to teach traditional karate techniques for confidence, fitness, and self-defence in a progressive and pragmatic manner. We offer classes for children aged 6 and above, as well as adults.
Our flagship Petersfield Dojo is the largest of our clubs and boasts a diverse membership. Established in 2009 at Froxfield Village Hall, we moved to The Petersfield School in 2013 to accommodate our growing numbers. Every Wednesday, we offer a range of classes, including Family Classes for different age groups, as well as a dedicated Senior class in the evening. In addition to our Petersfield Dojo, we also have a presence in Clanfield and Knowle Village. Our Clanfield classes take place every Saturday at The Clanfield Centre. We offer a Family Class in the morning, a Teen/Adult class, and specialised Competitive Training. To enquire about spaces, please email us.
At our Knowle Village club, situated at the Knowle Village Community Hall, we provide the perfect environment for beginners. Our experienced adults train on Tuesdays, and we have dedicated classes for both Under 18's and over 15's. To enquire about spaces, please email matt@petersfieldkarate. Uk.
Led by Sensei Matt, our dedicated and experienced instructors are passionate about teaching and empowering our students. We believe that great karate is violence with integrity, and we strive to instil these values in every student.
