Phoenix Taekwon-do in Kilmarnock invites you to join a thriving martial arts community under the guidance of Scott McMillan. Scott, a 6th Dan black belt, former World Champion, and ex-national coach for Scotland, brings 29 years of teaching experience along with expertise in Karate, Kickboxing, and Hapkido.
At Phoenix Taekwon-do, you’ll learn the art of self-defence, understanding the purpose behind each movement rather than just performing patterns. Sparring is both enjoyable and essential here, adding a functional edge to your training.
No contracts are needed—what’s important is your dedication and effort. Classes are available in two locations: Glasgow Townhead on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and in Kilmarnock on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, plus Saturdays at 11am.
Phoenix Taekwon-do caters to all ages, from kids as young as 4 to adults in their 50s. Flexibility isn’t a barrier, as everyone works to their own abilities. The club champions traditional values, discipline, and respect, creating an inclusive space for anyone willing to grow.
