Get ready for a paw-some pool party at the Courtenay Outdoor Pool at Lewis Park! Riverside Fit Park is excited to share that Courtenay Recreation will be hosting Pooch-A-Poolooza on August 31st. This event is perfect for dogs of all sizes to cool off, splash around, and have a doggone good time. The fun will kick off at 11:00 am and wrap up at 1:00 pm, giving plenty of time for furry friends to enjoy both the wading pool and big pool.
Admission to Pooch-A-Poolooza is $5.00, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the local SPCA. Remember to bring proof of rabies vaccination for your four-legged friend and make sure they get along well with other dogs. Van Isle Veterinary Clinic will be on-site to ensure everyone's safety, and Woofy's Pet Foods will be there with some pawsitively fantastic giveaways.
