Louise Burchell - Yoga, Birth & Wellbeing invites you to their pregnancy yoga classes in Edinburgh (Corstorphine). No matter what level of experience you have, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced yogi, these classes are suitable for all levels.
If you're looking to move your body and prepare for birth while taking some time out of your busy week to relax, these classes are perfect for you. Not only will you get the opportunity to bond with your baby, but you'll also be able to join a community of other pregnant women who are going through a similar journey.
The classes are designed to be safe and beneficial for pregnancy. You can start attending these classes from 12 weeks and continue right up until birth. Each week, there will be a different birth-preparation topic covered, allowing you to gain valuable knowledge and prepare yourself mentally and physically for the big day.
Breathing techniques for labour and birth will also be taught during the classes, providing you with important tools and skills to help you through the birthing process. And let's not forget, at the end of every class, you'll have the opportunity to relax and bond with your baby, creating a special connection.
To book your place, classes are booked in blocks of 8 weeks at a cost of £98. If you're not sure if this is right for you, trial classes are available upon request. We also understand that shift workers may have a difficult time committing to a set schedule, so flexi-blocks are available to accommodate your needs.
