There is no age limit at Redbridge Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but the club primarily caters to individuals ages 13 and above. Kids aged 13-16 have their own dedicated classes and pricing options. For adults, the monthly membership fee is 50, and there is also the option to pay for single lessons at 10 each.
The club is led by two experienced and skilled instructors: Sat Rana, who holds the rank of Purple belt, and Chris Cummings, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Sat Rana focuses on teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and general self-defence, while Chris Cummings brings his expertise to provide high-level instruction and guidance to students.
Training sessions are held three times a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, there are two-hour sessions from 17:30 to 19:30, with one hour dedicated to learning BJJ techniques, and the other hour focused on sparring. Saturdays have a morning session from 9:30 to 12:00, starting with an hour of fitness training followed by an hour and 30 minutes of BJJ sparring.
