Brisbane is hosting a Benchrest Shooting event featuring competitions involving scaled-down reproductions of historical naval or artillery pieces, focusing on accuracy and skill with cannon and mortar. Cannon enthusiasts can showcase their shooting abilities in Demi-cannon and Open Cannon classes, where targets depict a fort with zones for different scoring opportunities. In addition, participants can engage in the Mortar event, challenging accuracy through lobbing projectiles at a distance target flag. With limited attendance of 10 competitors, this exclusive competition welcomes only Licensed persons, ensuring a competitive and exhilarating atmosphere.
