Rock Tots Leeds is a highly popular children's club and after-school programme that specialises in rock climbing activities. Located at The Depot Climbing in Leeds, this programme offers fun and exciting classes and parties for children aged 1–6 years.
The Rock Tots classes are designed for children between the ages of 1–4 years, accompanied by a supervising adult. However, older children up to the age of 6 can also join this class if they are accompanying a younger sibling. On the other hand, the Rock Kids classes cater to children aged 3–6 years, again with a supervising adult. Younger children, starting from the age of 2 years, can participate in the Rock Kids class if they are accompanying an older sibling.
Classes take place on Fridays and Sundays at various times. The Friday schedule includes an induction from 9-10am, followed by Rock Tots from 10:15-11:15am and Rock Kids from 4-5pm. On Sundays, there is an induction from 9-10am, Rock Tots from 10-11am, and Rock Kids from 11:15am-12:15pm.
The cost of the classes is 7. 50 for one child and one adult. If a second child over 12 months old is attending, the fee is reduced to 4. Classes need to be booked in advance and in blocks of four weeks, which can be non-consecutive if necessary.
In the event that a class cannot be attended, the booking can be rolled over to a different date as long as the centre is notified in advance. To make a booking, interested participants can contact the centre by calling 0113 345 9295.
In order to ensure safety and compliance, all participants, including supervising adults, are required to complete a one-off induction session. This induction covers the centre rules, safety information, and class details. The induction can be completed at a reduced price of 5 and needs to be booked in advance. Forms related to the induction should be filled out online prior to the session, and completion of the induction is highly recommended without young children present.
The induction typically takes around 30 minutes.
