From Classical RAD Ballet, Pointe Work, ISTD Modern Dance, Jazz Theatre, ISTD Tap Dance, Acro, to Commercial and Body Conditioning, we have classes suitable for children as young as two and a half all the way through to adults.

With 36 years of experience, Romy Louisa Dance Academy is a highly trusted and caring institution, deeply rooted in the Thame and Chinnor community. We offer both syllabus and non-syllabus classes and provide accredited examinations in the Royal Academy of Dancing and Imperial Society Teachers of Dancing for those pupils at the appropriate standard.

Our primary goal is to nurture each child's self-confidence, poise, coordination, and musicality within a fun and professional environment. We believe in creating a safe and supportive space where dancers can thrive and explore their passion for dance.

As our world adjusts to the challenges posed by COVID-19, we have implemented strict safety measures to ensure the well-being of our students. We are a Covid-19 Secure dance school and follow all necessary protocols to provide a safe learning environment.

Our terms are structured and well-planned, with convenient holiday breaks. Our Autumn Term for 2023 starts on Monday, September 11th, with a half-term break from Monday, October 23rd to Monday, November 6th. The term concludes on Saturday, December 2nd. The Spring Term for 2024 commences on Monday, January 8th, with a half-term break from Monday, February 12th to Monday, February 19th.

The term ends on Saturday, March 23rd. Finally, the Summer Term for 2024 starts on Monday, April 15th, with a half-term break from Monday, May 27th to Monday, June 3rd. The term concludes on Saturday, June 29th.

We also provide provisional mock exam dates and provisional exam dates for both ISTD and RAD examinations. These important milestones allow our students to showcase their progress and receive recognition for their hard work and dedication.
