The Rosetown Leisure Aquatic Centre (RLAC) in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, is a community-owned and operated facility that is open from the beginning of June to the end of August each year. The RLAC was one of the first facilities in Saskatchewan to introduce an outdoor zero-depth entry pool, making it accessible and safe for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
The Aquatic Centre features a hot tub for relaxation, as well as swimming lessons for children during the summer months. In addition, a pool inflatable is available on Thursday evenings for added excitement, and a spray toy in the shallow end of the pool provides entertainment for babies and toddlers.
Punch cards can be purchased for convenience at the Town Office, eliminating the need to carry cash for entry fees. The Aquatic Centre also offers a pool brochure with information about public swimming times, lane swim schedules, and aquasize classes. Please note that schedules may vary or be cancelled due to weather, maintenance issues, or staffing shortages.
For those interested in swimming lessons, registration night is held on May 17th, 2023, from 6-8PM at the AGT Centre. Cash or cheques are accepted for registration fees, and all lessons must be paid for prior to the start date. Participants who have not paid for lessons by the first day will not be allowed to participate, so it is important to register and pay on time.
The Rosetown Leisure Aquatic Centre is a vibrant and engaging community hub that provides opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and skill development in a safe and welcoming environment. It is a place where families, friends, and individuals can come together to enjoy the benefits of swimming and water activities.
