In 1999, they established the Christmas tree plantation, which has become an iconic feature of the club. Every year, they open the plantation to the public, allowing families to come and choose their own Christmas tree.
Over the years, Rotorua East Bowling Club has grown and evolved, becoming a hub of sporting and social activity in Rotorua. The club boasts two well-maintained greens that offer stunning views of Mt Ngongotaha.
