The Royal Queensland Aero Club (RQAC) is Australia's oldest aero club and the oldest in the Southern Hemisphere. Established in 1910, the club has been supporting both private and commercial pilots for over a century. Located at Building 16 Qantas Avenue, Archerfield Airport, near the main terminal, the RQAC clubhouse serves as a hub for regular club events. For RQAC members who are suitably endorsed, the club offers the opportunity to fly the Piper Super Cub VH-PYK at a very affordable rate of $250/hour.
