This course is designed to take participants' winter walking skills to the next level and provide them with the opportunity to tackle steeper terrain and attempt classic routes.
Led by fully qualified WMCI and full members of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, the course offers the highest level of qualification, expertise, and professionalism. The instructors have a wealth of experience in the mountains across 6 continents and are passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with participants.
The course will focus on iconic routes such as Curved Ridge, The Aonach Eagach, Ledge Route, and Dorsal Arete, among others. Located on the stunning West Coast, with easy access to Glencoe and Ben Nevis, participants will benefit from optimal snow and weather conditions, making for unforgettable mountaineering experiences.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a range of adventures and can tailor their experience to their own goals and objectives. From fixed line work to alpine preparation like crevasse rescue, the course can cater to a variety of skills and aspirations.
The course is non-residential and requires a minimum of 2 participants. There are options for a 2, 3, or 5-day course, with a maximum ratio of £250 per day. The available dates for the course are January 15th and March 20th, so be sure to book your spot early to avoid missing out.
