About
Shore Archery Club in Auckland, the North Shore's longest-serving target archery club, warmly invites you to get involved in the sport. Open to all ages and experience levels, the club supports compound, recurve, and longbow archers, from 10-year-olds to those in their 80s.
Founded by Ken Leyman in the 1960s, the club now thrives near the North Shore Event Centre with a rich history and strong community spirit. Its outdoor range features 12 fixed targets and room for mobile ones, extending up to 90 metres for safe practice.
Club activities mainly occur on weekends, giving members full access to the excellent facilities. Conveniently located on Argus Place with ample parking, it's easy to get to and participate.
Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, including President Brian Shaw and Vice President Brian Cubitt, the club strives to offer a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Part of the Auckland District Archery Association (ADAA) and Archery New Zealand, Shore Archery Club is keen to welcome new members. Whether you're experienced or starting out, you'll find a friendly environment at Shore Archery Club. Join today and be part of this passionate archery community!
