Somerville Hockey Club

Somerville Hockey Club, an esteemed hockey club in Auckland, was founded by Mr. Lesley Howard Norton in 1915 and became an Incorporated Society in 1972. With a rich history of over a century, the club has grown to have more than 600 members, consisting of approximately 50 teams of men, women, boys, and girls. These teams compete across all grades in the Auckland Hockey Association competition.

The club is based at the Auckland Grammar School turf in Mt Eden, which is located on the Auckland city fringe and boasts an international-class water turf. This state-of-the-art facility provides an excellent playing surface for the club's members.
