Welcome to Stroud Yoga Space & Shop, a contemporary space dedicated to the teaching of Yoga, Meditation, and Pilates. Located in Stroud, New Zealand, our fully equipped and comfortable studio provides a warm and inviting environment for practitioners of all levels, whether you are just starting out or are an experienced yogi.
At Stroud Yoga Space & Shop, we pride ourselves on having highly qualified teachers who will guide and support you on your yoga and pilates journey. Our classes are designed to cater to a variety of styles and preferences, including Dru Yoga, Iyengar, Hatha Flow, Yin, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini, Teen Yoga, Restorative, Pregnancy, Mother & Baby, as well as blended styles and classes specifically tailored for Beginners and Pilates enthusiasts.
With two beautiful studios available for hire, we offer comfortable spaces that can accommodate around 10–12 people per class. Our studios feature bamboo floors with underfloor heating, ample natural light, and a spacious calm atmosphere. Each studio is equipped with yoga mats, blocks, belts, cushions, bolsters, and blankets to enhance your comfort and relaxation during your practise.
To ensure a seamless experience, we encourage pre-booking your classes with the relevant teacher. While we provide equipment such as mats, blocks, and bolsters, we also encourage you to bring your own mat if you prefer. For your convenience, our shop is open on Fridays and Saturdays, offering a range of yoga equipment for purchase, including mats, belts, bolsters, blocks, and eye masks. We also have an online shop available on our website.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene is of utmost importance at Stroud Yoga Space & Shop. Our studio is spotless twice a week, and in between, we strive to keep it as clean and hygienic as possible. We kindly request that you help us in this effort by using the provided spray after using our mats and storing the equipment back in its correct place. Additionally, we ask you to take home all your belongings and rubbish, and any left property will be kept in the 'forgotten items' basket in the cloakroom for a couple of weeks before being donated to charity.
In addition to regular classes, we also offer a variety of weekend workshops and events for those seeking a deeper understanding and practise of yoga. Our highly qualified teachers, affiliated with reputable yoga institutions such as 'The British Wheel' and 'Yoga Alliance', possess vast experience and understanding of the human body and individual needs, whether physical or mental/emotional. Many of our teachers are available for private one-to-one sessions, catering to those recovering from injuries or those who prefer a more personalised approach.
